About Me ~
I believe I was born with a deep sense of the beauty and mystery in our world. Everywhere there is a unique passage, a magical moment waiting to be captured on canvas or camera card before it passes forever into eternity.
This is my path this time around: to explore the wonder, to recreate it in a medium that can be shared with others, to teach what I have learned through study, travel and meditation.
Photography, ceramics and finally oils were my first means of expression. The camera, in the beginning, was a tool to gather images to paint; but, it quickly evolved into a medium of its own.
Today, my paintings and photography can be purchased in several shops and online as greeting cards, prints and canvas prints.. Many of my photos are also available for commercial license with Getty Images for whom I am a contributing photographer.

Although my main focus currently is fine art photography and mystical art, I have also worked in the past as a photographer for weddings, special events, modeling shots and portraits.
The mystical inclinations of my soul have caused me to explore many paths and continue to search for new revelations and deeper means of expression.
At a very young age, I began the study of astrology, numerology, tarot, meditation and dream interpretation. After studying with Self Realization Fellowship and receiving a diploma from the University of Metaphysics, I worked as a teacher and spiritual counselor for over 25 years. Many of my poems and articles have been published in magazines and newsletters. Quite naturally this mystical focus appears in my art which leans toward impressionism by its technique and also expressionism by my preference for rich, bold colors.
Digital art has added still another dimension. My Healing Angel art and Soul Portraits are a good example of this. I find that spirit manifests easily through fractal art. It is the place where art, science and spirituality meet! Everything in the natural world, including our own DNA is based on mathematical equations as are fractal designs.
Each piece of art is a living image with its own essence to which our own energy fields respond in a positive way! To me painting is a form of meditation and sacred communion.
I have recently completed a deck of cards based on Faery Shamanism. All of the cards are created from my original pastel paintings and can be individually purchased as greeting cards or signed prints.
Currently I am working on a book and creating a set of cards featuring my Healing Angel Art.

My philosophy in life is kindness. I try to find the joy in all of life's situations and the positive lessons to be learned in difficult times. I believe that we are responsible for all we attract into our lives as well as what we project into the lives of others and that love, kindness and forgiveness are always the right answers!
