I have recently produced a series of oil paintings of the countryside north of San Francisco. The wine country just above the San Francisco Bay is called the Carneros. It is a unique region blessed by the sun, fog, wind, soil, trees, birds, animals and microorganisms working together in a beautiful accord. Coordinating this bounty are the farmers and vintners investing in the future through sustainable practices. I have lived in the region for twenty years. I have grown to love it deeply.
