Don Krajewski - Fine Artist
Don Krajewski started semi-pro photography in 1984, working as an assistant for a master photographer, David Erhlich. Within two years, Don was out on his own as a freelance photographer and has been shooting pictures ever since. Over time, Don has worked on capturing the beauty of people, animals, objects, and nature. Some of that work is presented here.
In October, 2008, Don took that leap from film to digital. This was a big step moving from analog films and chemical processes to an almost all digital technique. This step has broadened his artistic potentials and broadening his artistic capabilities. One of the broadening of possibilities of concepts to digital art and reflected in the Snow Queen series and medieval concept shoot pieces posted here on Fine Art America. Today, he rarely uses a darkroom except for large format photography. His wife has enjoyed him not always smelling like photographic chemicals.
Don sketches and draws in graphite, charcoal, and lead. Many of his concepts are sketched out prior to shooting them, and this is reflected in his work. Don designs and creates his wife's jewelry almost exclusively. Friends and family who are lucky have received one of these specially created heirloom pieces as gifts.
Don Krajewski is available for commissioned works of art. Don can be contacted at http://www.xoind.com. In addition to contacting him, there are more of his photographic works at http://galleries.xoind.com.
