I am a self-taught multimedia artist. I have been expressing myself artistically since I was a child. Over the years I have experimented with all types of mediums.
Nature, as it does for many artists, has fascinated me for my entire life. There is little about nature that is not inspiring.
In my paintings I’d like to bring out a world of wonder that only nature can provide. I love vibrant colors and though I may take some artistic license I want the viewer to feel like they are peeking into another world where tiny creatures and possibly fairies dwell.
Ceramic free-form sculpture is also a favorite medium of mine. I enjoy mixing wood with ceramic in various forms. Hand sculpting birds and creatures and placing them in a natural setting with the wood has a very whimsical feel, like bringing a piece of nature into your home.
