Donna L. Huntriss is a much sought after artist and author form the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Also an exhibition team curator for the Shoalhaven Mental Health Open Art Prize held annually.
Awarded a 'Recognition of the Arts' by the Shoalhaven Arts Board, a prize winner in the Blue Fringe Literary Arts Awards, and also 'The Mental Health Prize' (Shoalhaven City Art Centre, Nowra NSW) in 2010. Donna was also awarded a Commended in the Tom Howard/John Reid SHort Story - Prose Prize in 2009.
She is a regular exhibitor in the 'Bald Archy Prize' (Sydney Australia), 'The Blue Fringe Arts Festival' (Blue Mountains Australia - Highly commended in 2011), The TAP Gallery (Sydney Australia) and 'Escape Artfest' (Milton - Ulladulla NSW Australia - Finalist Alley Archie Portrait Prize).
Her solo shows include the 'Cartoon Bunker Gallery' (Coffs Harour NSW Australia) and The Shoalhaven City Art Centre Regional Gallery, (Nowra NSW Australia). In 2010 she made the Top 100 in the Brunswick Street Gallery's Works on Paper Prize out of over 700 entries and was finalist in the Polish Biennale Drawing Prize (Melbourne) in 2011.
