"Where as the Brown County Art Gallery Association and the Brown County Art Guild, Inc.
have contributed much to preserving the heritage of Brown County as a center for art and artists.
Therefore, let it be resolved by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana (section 1):
We recognize the importance of Brown County as an historic and current center of art in Indiana
and that we especially salute those artists of today whose work reflects
the beauty and charm of Brown County and its people."
