Solid Rock Photography Dustin DeBoer

I am a fine art photographer specializing in nature, landscape, and travel photography. I am located in Austin, Minnesota, and enjoy checking out the great landscapes of Minnesota and beyond.

I am also the Social Media Coordinator for the Austin Area Art Center. I seek to promote other artists of the area through writing for my online art columns and more. I great up in Austin and am still living here with an emphasis on trying to make it a better place for artists to call home.

I began to enjoy the outdoors and all it has to offer as a child while growing up in a mid-western family who traveled to experience new places. From this early exposure I developed an appreciation for the natural world. As I grew up, I soon discovered how having a camera and a quiet time in a natural setting broadened my whole being

I have been using my photography to help people 'Relax, Reflect, and Rejuvenate' ever since I was a little kid. Now after writing and book on that title and honing my skills, I try to bring out the 'Be Still and Know I am God' aspects that nature can indeed present us with.

I have been to many places throughout the years. I have been able to capture some of these places such as the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River in Yellowstone National Park. The capturing of these places on film has not been the point, however. Rather for me the point has been to experience the journey of doing what the world truly needs of people—becoming a person who is alive. I hope to encourage others to find their passion for living so that the world can be a better place to live and be all that humanity was created for.

I have a Masters in Outdoor Education from the University of Minnesota and reside in southern Minnesota where I am a making Austin a better place for artists and more. I run a marketing company and do a lot of promotion for the Austin Area Art Center! You can even find a group on FAA for the Austin Area Art Center.
