Yehonatan- Dwayne Goulbourne is an emerging artist born in August 1981 in Brooklyn, NY. Originally a sketch artist, he has enthusiastically delved into many forms of visual art. With exceptional talent and independant research he learned how to use oil and acylic paints, already having a strong background in graphite, pastel, and charcoal.
Some of his work has recently been showcased in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square, in New York's Hotel Chelsea, also a couple of group shows at The Townhouse Art Gallery with curator Esther Nash. His first solo exhibit ran from December to march in Park Slope's Prospect Garden Cafe .
Yehonatan is a fan of doing portraits, as well as land and cityscapes, just beginning to branch off into more abstract work and signs DAG as a pun, to express the final thought of his works, which is also his initials. Currently he is working a project about homelessness in America. A life-long project. In the summer of 2013 he gave uncredited assisstance on a subway mural restoration @Flatbush Ave and Empire Blvd in Brooklyn, with the Crown Heights Youth Collective.
