What would you like to know??

I am a Fine Art Photographer and Artist from rural Victoria in Australia. I am concerned with people, identity and emotions, and use theatrical styled images to discuss my issues and themes.I work with portraiture and alt fashion as a starting point, but all my work requires much thought to be truly understood. I love contemplating people and personalities, and I am curious about emotions and memories, and how someone can be so affected by an idea. There is strong focus a lot on people and portraiture because of a fascination with psychology; what people think, what people feel, their secrets, their desires, their hate and their fear.

My work has been previously exhibited in group art shows, “Exhibition 2010” and “Exhibition 2011” in Morwell, Victoria, Australia; “The End, the Beginning: Counterfeits” at Switchback Gallery, Churchill Victoria on November 15th 2011; 'Art takes times Square', in Times Square, New York, June 2012; 'Snap to Grid', and Lacda, Los Angeles, January 2013, 'Electron Saloon' Lacda, Los Angeles, Febuary 2013, 'Postcards' at ARC, Yinnar, April 2013, 'Add On', Head On, Sydney, 2013, and 'In Between Acts; works inspired by Shakespeare', Segue, Stratford, April 2013. I have also managed 3 solo shows; one, November 5th 2011, in Australia, titled, “Animal Kingdom”, two, Febuary 2012, called “Mental Monsters” and three, 'The Great East Coast Exhibition' in June/July 2012.

I have participated in such competitions as; Artists Wanted:Open Call 2010, 3rd Ward: Open Call 2010, Artists Wanted: Exposure 2010, Artists Wanted: Self 2011, 3rd Ward Focus Project 2011, Australian Head On Portrait Prize, Artists Wanted: One Life and Artists Wanted: Exposure 2011, The Maquarie photographic prize 2012 & 2013, and Art Takes Times Square 2012 &2013, Exposure 2013, Head On 2013 to name a few.

I use a Pentax K-30, a Nikon D3000, a 2005 model Pentax *ist DL and 2009 model Fujifinepix S8100 fd for my fine art photographs, and Photoshop Elements 7 for my post work.



I currently reside in Gippsland, rural Victoria, Australia, and have studied a bachelor of visual and media art at Monash University, completed as of 2011.
