Born in 1958 Malaysia, Eddie has worked as a designer, art director and professional illustrator for nearly thirty years. Being a versatile contemporary painter, his works focuses on figurative and the abstract. His abstract pieces express his concerns on conservation and humanitarian issues. Eddie's works are collected by friends, professionals, companies and art enthusiasts from Malaysia, U.S.A, Canada, Germany, U.K., Korea, Singapore and Australia.
The artist has always espoused to the idea that appreciating and interpreting art is a personal and individual affair and encourages the viewer to deduce the meanings of his works freely as different minds perceive things differently and to journey into a wondrous land of imagination, throwing the orthodox caution to the wind. Eddie studied Advanced Counseling and Child Psychology. He is life member of the National Art Gallery of Malaysia, member of Passion of Art Cultural Society, Chicago, U.S.A. and also a member of Images & Poetry Artistic Literary Movement, Italy.
