Ekaterina Gomol was born in Russia. As a child she was always interested in art and painting. At the age of 7 in addition to her normal school studies she was attending classes at an art school.
After high school Ekaterina attended an art college and graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts. Since 1995 she studied at the University of Arts in Moscow, Russia and received Masters degree in Fine Arts Painting and Teaching. Ekaterina learned art of painting under supervision of Honored Russian Artists. After graduating from the university she worked as a teacher in a private lyceum of arts.
Her works are kept in galleries and private collections in Russia, United States, Switzerland and Germany.
Ekaterina's classical art skills are based on the richest traditions of Russian School Painting where realism and impressionism live and work together in chorus. It is a style that combines powerful realistic involvement with the soft and lyrical looseness of impressionism.
Ekaterina's great strength as an artist lies in her drawing ability, her zestful use of color, light and a wide range of subjects that interest her. She utilizes a lot of techniques and art tricks, which she took over from her famous art-masters.
