Fran Kelly (aka Duckydaddles)

A graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York, Fran has spent most of her life engaged in the arts. For example, she has designed pottery, woven fabric on a loom, worked in both oil and water color painting, as well as pastels, created porcelain miniatures for dollhouses, designed a line of fabric dolls. There isn't a medium she hasn't worked in.
Her work has won her recognition in the New York area. Further, she has taught art techniques in Adult Education programs in Westchester, NY.
She enjoys writing and in this activity her poetry reflects her deep sense of our world and our place in it.
Her photography reflects that as well. Some of her happiest times were spent in pursuit of the perfect Nature Shot. Fran was fortunate to have some of her work shown and earned awards for her photography.
Flowers are an important theme in her art. She has painted numerous canvases of flowers that showcase her sense of their color and form.
Once Fran discovered the computer, a new world opened up. CyberGrandma, as she was nicknamed, learned the art of soap making on YouTube and now divides her time between her painting and soaping.

Fran Kelly joined Fine Art America on June 18th, 2011.
