I was born and raised in southern N.H. and have lived in the Berlin/Gorham area for the last six years fulfilling a lifelong dream. To hike and photograph the White Mountain National Forest. Covering over 700,000 acres, the WMNF is home to the Presidentials and Mt Washington, the highest peak in New England and home to some of the worlds worst weather. Where I live is a naturist and photographers dream. Surrounded by three mountain chains, four rivers, cold, clear mountain lakes, ponds and streams, spectacular waterfalls, and deep forests where wildlife abounds, each day seems to be a new discovery for myself and my lens. Combine this with four full seasons, especially the amazing fall foliage season up here in the Whites and you should be able to understand why I chose this area to photograph. Eventually I hope to capture as much of the WMNF as it will allow me. My goal is to photograph all the waterfalls in the forest along with as much as the flora and fauna as I can before these species disappear. My other photography passion is floral photography. Flowers, both garden and wild, amaze me. So many different varieties of just one genius fascinates me to no end. I have the opportunity to photograph many of the stunning gardens that are around the area as well as numerous wildflowers during each season. My portfolio is growing as I add more.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or particular spots in NH and the WMNF that you are looking for.
