Frederic Kohli - Capturing the beauty of scenic vistas of North America in realistic detail is the focus of artist-photographer Frederic Kohli.
His work includes a range of subjects from lighthouse seascapes to scenic landscapes of mountains, lakes, beaches, desert and tropical scenery.
His artwork involves realistic paintings on canvas, paper, and wood. Also, he has created impressionist paintings of floral vistas and gardens. His work also includes a series of pen and ink, and colored pencil drawings of interesting lighthouses and their unique settings.
His photogaphic work originated with photos of the various lighthouses he has visited over the years. He later expanded his work to cover the colorful sunrise and sunset cloud formations over central Florida's lakes and trees.
Over the years, a large number of his paintings have been placed with collectors in the United States and Europe. The images on this site represent much of his more recent work.
Many of Frederic's paintings have been created on a custom basis for clients with a specific subject interest.
