Gene discovered the joy of photography while in his early teens with various film cameras. His first SLR camera was a Kodak Retna III which opened a new level of excitement in creative photography. Landscapes, nature, travel and special events were and remain his favorites. It was always a hobby put on hold while raising a family and focusing on work with greater priorities. In 2009 he made the transition from film SLR to a digital SLR which has opened new goals and opportunities.
His passion for landscape and nature photography is rooted in a faith based creation conviction. The heavens, the mountains, the seas and all creation declare God’s glory and given for our enjoyment.
He and his wife have resided in Fort Wayne, Indiana since 1983.
