A New Englander by heart, I am a self taught artist that enjoys creating truly unique watercolor paintings. Although I may use various reference photos and models to ensure compositional integrity, I thrive to portray interesting perspectives and playful art that captures interest. My interests of late include my 'Modi' cat painting series that incorporates a Modigliani style cat and his passion & fascination for mechanical riding apparatuses. Creating mystery and provoking thought are attributes that I strive towards. I am fascinated by the works of Modigliani, George Tooker, Alex Colville and Andrew Wyeth.
