Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1972. Moved to Winnipeg in 1977, after my parents split up. I always was inspired by my mother's artistic expression, and wanted to dive into drawing, sculpting, ceramics, or anything she was into at the time.
I have been inspired by the likes of Picasso, Escher, Doré, Dürer, and Dali, and of course my mother. I have taken a liking to pen and inks on paper. Mostly i prefer using black and white, but just lateley I have added just a little bit of colour.
Maths have never been a strong subject, although I have been drawn to geometrical shapes and patterns, utilizing both halves of my brain in my art work. There have been countless of times where I have stumped myself in some of my creations. Lately I have been studying Sacred geometry, Islamic geometry, perspective (many points of view), and illusionary drawings, incororating the logic and the creativity into my works.
I currently work as a pastry chef full time, channelling my creativity into pastries, cakes, and wedding cakes. When time allows me, I love to spend time into my artwork, with lots of intricacies and detail.
In my time of creativity, i love to listen to Electronic ambient music, it definately invokes a lot of feeling, and inspiration to draw. I really hope you enjoy my works, and thank you for taking the time for viewing my pieces
