GeriLou Smith, B.F.A, B.S, was born in Dallas, Texas in 1969. Attending Universities she specialized in the study of portrait painting and graphic design.
It was apparent from a very early stage that she was naturally skilled. With great enthusiasm GeriLou embarked on a life long journey to strive for perfection while still seeking to personalize her own style of painting.
Extensive expressions of lights and dark's breathe an air of emotions into her portraiture's. Emphasizing blends of grays with a touch of color produced depth of feeling that never fails to stimulate the observer.
Even a brief viewing of GeriLou's work will demonstrate her attention to particular details which is the result of many years of study and familiarity with the subject matter.
Not only is GeriLou painting portraiture's but she also dabbles a little into designer jewelry. Creating one of a kind bracelets and earrings and will soon create impressive necklaces. All of her jewelry's are of natural stones, semi precious beads, and silver or sterling silver spacers or clasps.
