At the international photo competition Prix de la Photographie, Paris, France she was awarded Third Prize in the Fine Art Category for her picture 'Leaves'.
At the 4th Annual Photography Masters Cup Competition Gerlinde Keating won the Nominee title in the Wildlife Category. 'The Masters Cup celebrates photographers who operate at the highest levels of their craft', said Basil O'Brien, the awards creative director. 'Gerlinde Keating's work represents contemporary color photography at its finest.'

“… Whenever I create digital art, I start with a blank canvas or with a photograph I have taken. After I’ve looked at the image for a moment my imagination takes over.
