After a very uncommon path, as a respected journalist in technology, and then as a multiple awarded designer (including the Red Dot Design), Gia To starts as a pro photographer on 2012, with the Ballets de Monte-Carlo and Compagnie Orientations. Her work is mainly focused on live performances but she's also into travel, sports and news photography. Her work has already been awarded by the prestigious 'Photographies de l'année' competition (Photography of the year), in two categories: 'Live performance' and 'New talent'. Her solo exhibition is programmed on July 2013, as the main photo event at the notorious Dance Festival of Vaison-la-Romaine in South of France. Originated from Viet-Nam as an overseas Chinese, Gia To lives in Taiwan and France.
