Follow Your Dreams and Never Give Up
I was first inspired to paint and draw when I was shown some of my beloved auntie's drawings as a young child. I trained as an Art and Craft Teacher and taught Art until I had my four children. I have always found Art to be a meditative experience and worked intuitively, just starting to sculpt or paint without any real idea of what I would finally produce.
In the 1980’s I became interested in personal growth and alternative Healing and took up Yoga and then Reiki and began to make Flower Remedies and to teach Reiki. My whole attitude to life and understanding of myself began to change.
One night, about fifteen years I decided to experiment with watercolours. I went into the mediative state and to my great surprise I produced two incredible energetic paintings of Angels. The Angels came to me as I must have had the abilities they needed. They wanted me to paint them. The form of the painting is not so important, that is fairly simple. It is the interplay of the colours and the energies they represent and the feelings the paintings engender that is important. The paintings are a form of wordless communication that speaks to us on a soul level of 'Remembrance'.
Many of us have lost our way; we have forgotten who we really are and what we are here for. Many who experience the Angel Paintings find they give them a sense of peace and deep comfort. They are particularly helpful for those in pain, deep fear, and despair. They remind us that we are Spirits. We are not human beings having spiritual experiences. We are Spirits who have chosen to have a human experience, but most of us have forgotten this.
