I. fell in love with art in fifth grade when my art piece was hung in the hall of my school, I knew that was what I wanted I love color and I love the feel of art. At twenty one I signed up for art lessons from Mrs Hellman a local artist that taught in her home she was self taught but actually she taught me alot and gave me great enjoyment. I started working for a major airline but continued to take art taking from excellent teachers in both Ft. Lauderdale and Hollywood Florida. With my last move back to my home state I decided it was time for me to do some continuing education in art I have taken lessons from some very gifted artist that teach at Illinois Central College, we are blessed with some excellent artist that live it and teach it. I am continuing my education and practicing art in my own studio, I dream of having a gallery of my own. I love all mediums but find my true love is pastel . I am still experiencing new ideas and still feel excited as I venture into unknown territory. It is a place you go both in head and heart when you do art it is invigorating .
