Thank you for visiting, my name is Grant Glendinning and Iím a photographer based in Glasgow.
I began photographing Scotlandís beautiful landscapes and seascapes around 2007, shortly after purchasing my second Canon DSLR. As well as landscapes I am also passionate about photographing birds, wildlife, historic buildings, macro and night photography.
I have been published several times in the UKís longest running photography publication, Amateur Photographer magazine as well as a few other UK photography magazines including Canon DSLR magazine. I have also had one of my wildlife images featured on the front cover of Scottish Field magazine.
As well as magazine publications, my images have also won photographic competitions from DPreview, ePHOTOzine and Historic Scotland.
I like my photographs to look as natural as possible and the way the camera recorded them, therefore I keep post-processing in the digital darkroom to a minimum. I do, however like to experiment with ND and GND filters to increase exposure time in daylight for cloud movement and to smooth out water.
I currently use a Canon 5dMKIII for all my landscape and wildlife work. Lenses include a Canon 17-40mm f4.0 L, Canon 70-200 f4.0 L, Canon 100mm f2.8 L IS Macro and a Canon 400mm f5.6 L. I also use a GND (0.6 and 0.9) by Lee, a polarizing filter by Hoya and a 6 and 10 stop ND filter by B&W
