Grazyna Wolski is best known for large-scale floral paintings reflecting her love of nature, celebrating its grace, magnificence, and vibrancy.
The creative process, enthused by the endless beauty of nature - her flawlessness, yet imperfection - reminds her of her own journey, forever developing and unpredictable, yet also miraculous.
Flowers stand as a metaphor for how she feels about life. She paints them to tell stories, evoke memories, bring joy and to please the senses of the viewer.
She believes that all art is spiritual in nature. Her technique is intuitive and spontaneous. Key elements of her style are vibrant colours and light.
Her interest in art began at an early age with sketching, drawing and painting.†
She was born in Poland, and immigrated to Canada in 1988 where she has further developed her artistic side by taking up pottery, pursuing a career in special effects and make-up artistry, and exploring her love for painting through workshops and online studies. She continues to grow and evolve in her artistic journey.
