I have always loved the arts, as a child I wanted to draw to express myself, but I wasn't very good at it. I took a photography class and instantly fell in love... Since then I have viewed my surroundings through a lens perspective. Thirteen years ago I met my husband, who gave me the best gift ever, it was my first real 35mm. It was an expensive hobby, I spent a fortune on film and development, but I loved it. I still display a lot of my work from that time, taken on film and without the help of an LCD screen, I'm still in awe of it's beauty.
With the economy downturn, I was laid off as a reporter, but it was a blessing in disguise. I started to focus on my photography again and realized that I could turn my dream, of having my own photography business, into a reality. My work now focuses on child and family photography, but I haven't lost my love for landscape and I'm pleased to have Fine Art showcase my 'work'.
