My name is Hannah Miller. I am 19 years old and from Pineville, Louisiana. I have lived here nearly my entire life; it'll alway be known as 'home'. I am currently attending Northwestern State University studying to be a nurse. Though I strive daily to become a nurse, my passion lies in photography. I truly believe it is my God-given talent and purpose to capture this world in a more beautiful way. There is so much ugly here in the world, but also so much beauty. Focusing on the beauty most definately makes this world seem a lot less terrible. In every photo I take, I see God shining through. I plan to eventually travel around the world capturing beauty outside of the United States. I feel like there is so much that I am missing out on and its just sitting and waiting for me to photograph!
I think my favorite genre of photography is nature and animals, but I have been getting into a little more 'people' photography. When it comes to that, I love photographing children the most. Children don't have a worry in the world. They live for each and every moment. It makes it super easy to get beautiful photos with a child who is smiling and having a good time having their photo taken. I prefer candid-like pictures. They're so natural and real. The most wonderful feeling in the world is seeing a client's reaction when they see their photos. That really lets me know that I did a fantastic job in capturing their special moment. My confidence level has never been high, so to speak, but the more I practice, the better I get and the more the confidence level rises. Before and after each and every shoot, I thank the good Lord for my talent. I know I wouldn't be who I am today, without Him.
