I am absolutely awed by the beauty that surrounds us. Art has been a passion of mine since I was able to hold a pencil. I love to recreate environments around me, and also add my own little touch to every piece of my work. I love rich, earthy colors and high contrasts of light and dark. Charcoal drawings are my passion, but acrylic and oil painting are a close second. I am always willing to try new mediums. I like to be challenged and I feel that it keeps my artwork fresh and inventive. Some of the artists that have influenced me are Rembrant, and Norman Rockwell.
I am often inspired by things I have seen, or my own imagination. I have done all ranges of work from post cards to wall murals. I have earned an associate’s degree from Harrisburg Area Community College in Visual Arts/Design. I am continuing my education at Shippensburg University in Fine Arts and Art Education, and I continue to learn and grow as an artist every day.
