Children's book illustrator and artist Helena Bebirian shows an array of whimsical color in her work. She enjoys bringing her magical creative illustrations now into children's book by bringing her author's words to life. Helena began her passionism of art doodling as a child, winning local awards, as well as in her handwriting. Helena is available for commissions, and in addition to her paintings, you can purchase here on FineArtAmerica with your choice of framedworks, stretched canvas, notecards, or prints.

American born, Helena is first generation Armenian, with a vast love of multiple cultures. Her hopes are to encourage and connect with the children of the world to continue into the arts. Helena states, 'Our children are of beauty, innocence and love, and may that always be contagious.' View many other passionate works by Helena on her website: www.helenasartgallery.com and feel free to comment and sign her guestbook.

As a passionate artist and colorist, Helena would like to extend forth a newer image of Armenians and artists...for when someone views her personal artwork, and if it brings a 'smile' to their faces...then she feels that she has completed her promise.

Helena is a free spirit and love all that is tactile in the world. Very creative ideas and are willing to take risks. Always loves to imagine and create, and feels so blessed to share my works with all of you.

Helena wishes to become a combination of the great artists as Johannes Vermeer( master painter for the use of light in his works) and Pierre Bonnard(master painter for his intense use of color, small brushmarks and close value).

Helena visits schools, libraries, and bookstores enthusiastically speaking to young readers about their journeys and to always maintain that sparkling glimmer of our own hopes and dreams. Please visit her website: www.helenasartgallery.com and sign guest book.

On The Boardwalk By Artist Helena Bebirian

Pelham, NH - December 22nd, 2012

Dimension: 8"X10" on Canvas Board Medium: Acrylics Song: Under the Boardwalk When the sun beats down and burns the tar up on the roof, And your shoes get so hot you wish your tired feet were fireproof, Under the boardwalk, down by the sea, On a blanket with my baby, that's where I'll be. From the park you hear the happy sound of the carousel, You can almost taste the hot dogs and french fries they sell, Under the boardwalk, down by the sea, On a blanket with my baby, that's where I'll be. Under the boardwalk, (Out of the sun) Under the boardwalk, (We'll be having some fun) Under the boardwalk, (People walking above) Under the boardwalk, (We'll be falling in love) Under the boardwalk, (Boardwalk!) Oooh, la la la la la la. Oooh, la la la la la la la la la. Help me somebody, sing some la la's with me. Under the night, under the stars by the raging sea. Under...

Embracing And Passionistic Painter Helena Bebirian Captures Painting Unforgettable

Pelham, NH - December 22nd, 2012

Embracing and Passionistic. This painting was inspired by me by the sculptorist, Auguste Rodin, his version of "The Kiss" Limited Edition I call it..."Unforgettable," because when I saw the live sculptor in Paris, France...I still have not forgotten. Unforgettable, that's what you are Unforgettablethough near or far Like a song of love that clings to me How the thought of you does things to me Never before has someone been more Unforgettable in every way And forever more, that's how you'll stay That's why, darling, it's incredible That someone so unforgettable Thinks that I am unforgettable too Unforgettable in every way And forever more, that's how you'll stay That's why, darling, it's incredible That someone so unforgettable Thinks that I am unforgettable too

Freedom Sails

Pelham, NH - January 6th, 2012

Dimension: 16"X20" Stretch Bar Canvas Medium: windsor & Newton Oils Freedom's Plow: by Langston Hughes When a man starts out with nothing, When a man starts out with his hands Empty, but clean, When a man starts to build a world, He starts first with himself And the faith that is in his heart- The strength there, The will there to build. First in the heart is the dream- Then the mind starts seeking a way. His eyes look out on the world, On the great wooded world, On the rich soil of the world, On the rivers of the world. America! Land created in common, Dream nourished in common, Keep your hand on the plow! Hold on! If the house is not yet finished, Don’t be discouraged, builder! If the fight is not yet won, Don’t be weary, soldier! The plan and the pattern is here, Woven from the beginning Into the warp and woof of America: ALL MEN ARE CREA...

Dimension: 18"X20" gesso prime treated Canvas Medium: Acrylics One of Helena's favorite paintings of mother and her first born child. A story within this painting. As each woman is assimlated to this ideal, her individual features are transformed and on some occasions, merged with her rivals. Similarly the characteristic costume of one woman may also be found in a portrait of another. Angel In Disguise © Jennifer Rasmussen The other day I met an angel And when I looked into her eyes I saw a love to pierce the darkness I saw that hate she truly despised I saw the comfort and compassion When I was broken or would cry She'd embrace me into her arms And sing to me a lullaby The words so inspirational I'd close my eyes and dream The melody so graceful I was hearing Heaven sing She taught me many lessons About how to live my life Pleasingly towards ...

Liberty Created By FineArt Artist Helena Bebirian

Pelham, NH - October 14th, 2011

Dimension: 11”X14” stretch bar canvas Medium: Windsor & Newton Oils Liberty New Castle, July 4, 1878 or a hundred years the pulse of time Has throbbed for Liberty; For a hundred years the grand old clime Columbia has been free; For a hundred years our country’s love, The Stars and Stripes, has waved above. Away far out on the gulf of years- Misty and faint and white Through the fogs of wrong-a sail appears, And the Mayflower heaves in sight, And drifts again, with its little flock Of a hundred souls, on Plymouth Rock. Do you see them there-as long, long since- Through the lens of History; Do you see them there as their chieftain prints In the snow his bended knee, And lifts his voice through the wintry blast In thanks for a peaceful home at last? Though the skies are dark and the coast is bleak, And the storm is wild and fierce, Its frozen flake on the upturned cheek Of the Pilgrim...

Art Collectors Welcome A Poem As Lovely As A Tree By Helena Bebirian

Pelham, NH - October 14th, 2011

On our journey through life, we encounter many things that inspire us. This tree inspired me, and took my breathe away. I am just enjoying the journey with the small inspirations that come my path. The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. ... Albert Einstein I think that I shall never see A poem lovely as a tree. A tree whose hungry mouth is prest Against the earth's sweet flowing breast; A tree that looks at God all day, And lifts her leafy arms to pray; A tree that may in Summer wear A nest of robins in her hair; Upon whose bosom snow has lain; Who intimately lives with rain. Poems are made by fools like me, But only God can make a tree. -- Joyce Kilmer

Free Spirit Of The Lemon Tree Field By Artist Helena Bebirian

North Andover, MA - April 3rd, 2011

Media: Acrylic Dimension: 16”X20” on mounted canvas Free-spirited, running through the glossy leaved lemon tree field. Lemon Tree Oh my little lemon tree! Teach me How you play and laugh. I’ve forgot to be easy, simple, adventurous Like a fluttering leaf On a windy day. Oh my little lemon tree! Tell me How you grudge and strike I’ve forgot to be angry, cruel and insurrectionist! Swirls And Twirls Created On Magical Wish Granting Tree

North Andover, MA - March 28th, 2011

Swirls and twirls created on "Hannah's Magical Wish Granting Tree." There was once a weary traveler who sat down to rest in the shade of a tree. He did not know that the tree he rested upon was a magic tree. It is called " The Wish-Granting Tree." Seated on the hard ground, he thought how pleasant it would be if he can sleep in a soft bed. Instantly, a bed appeared before him. Astonished, the man immediately climbed onto the bed. Then, he thought that it would be nice if there would be a beautiful young girl beside him who would massage his sore legs. At that moment, a young girl appeared before him and began massaging him. "I'm so hungry," the man said to himself. "Having something to eat now would be a great pleasure." Instantly, a table appeared with delicious foods. The man rejoiced and began eating and drinking to his heart's content. His head spun a little and his eyelids grew h...

New Garden Painting By FineArt Painter Helena Bebirian

North Andover, MA - March 28th, 2011

Dimension: 18"X24" Stretch Bar Canvas Medium: Windsor & Newton Water-Based Acrylics Bad Gardens copy, good gardens create, great gardens transcend. What all great gardens have in common are their ability to pull the sensitive viewer out of him or herself and into the garden, so completely that the separate self-sense disappears entirely, and at least for a brief moment one is ushered into a nondual and timeless awareness. A great garden, in other words, is mystical no matter what its actual content. - Ken Wilbur, Grace and Grit, 1991, p. 109.

Wild Heart Running By Artist Helena Bebirian

North Andover, MA - February 25th, 2011

Dimension: 16"X20" Windsor & Newton Cotton Stretch Bar Canvas Medium: Windsor & Newton Water-Based Acrylics Wild Heart By Lacy Priest Her pounding hooves barely touched the ground, If she escapes, she'll never be found. The men's ropes are twirling, now flying throuth the air, Waiting to tighten 'round the neck of the mare. She sees it and cuts to the right, While the riders draw empty ropes back up tight. The men's horses are tiring, but she's fresh as a breeze. "She's drawing away," whispers the wind in the trees. Through the canyon, up the hill, "The men are beaten; she's safe"; the cardinals thrill! She'll never know bridle, blanket, nor saddle, And she won't ever help cowboys round up the cattle. 'Cause she's a wild one by name and by mark, The cowboys all round here call her The Wild Heart. Now that's the tale of the sorrel mare that never got roped, Because she evaded all the cowboys with her powerful 'lope.

Such Freedom Expressed In New Artworks Wild Wild Horses By Helena Bebirian

North Andover, MA - February 25th, 2011

Wild beauties dashing through the snow! TO MY HORSE By Whitney Robinson From day to day and year to year It's you that makes me whole The pounding of your hooves Sparks magic in my soul. Who could match out joy? None would be so bold As we canter through the meadows In a dance of ages old. You were a gift from Heaven On Earth you give me wings And even Angel envy The joy such freedom brings We will travel the world over And track the rainbow to it's end We will find out pot of Gold And continue 'round the bend. Our Gold may come as trophies Or ribbons flashing blue But these things matter little My Treasure lies in YOU.

Artist Helena Bebirian Captures The Legendary Icon Michael Jackson

North Andover, MA - February 13th, 2011

I grew up loving the gentle soul Michael Jackson...his music, his moonwalk, his moves...and when I heard the news he passed away...I literally wept. I fell asleep weeping asI had this dream of Michael Jackson, and felt this was a calling for me to paint him. This painting is in memory of the greatest legend in my times, and as for all times. I picked one of my favorite songs he sang,"I'll Be There," when he was young...as I know he never left and will always be there! You and I must make a pact, we must bring salvation back Where there is love, I'll be there I'll reach out my hand to you, I'll have faith in all you do Just call my name and I'll be there I'll be there to comfort you, Build my world of dreams around you, I'm so glad that I found you I'll be there with a love that's strong I'll be your strength, I'll keep holding on Let me fill your heart with joy and laughter Togethe...

Three Hundred Sixty-Five By Artist Helena Bebirian

North Andover, MA - January 19th, 2011

Pomegranates, the National Fruit of Armenia. No matter what the size of the pomegranate fruit, there are always 365 seeds. One seed for everday of the year. As the viewer, you would have to figure out, are there 365 strokes of paint, 365 pomegranate seeds, 365 lines? Once again, a lovely poem added to this artwork. The Pomegranate , by Eavan Boland The only legend I have ever loved is the story of a daughter lost in hell. And found and rescued there. Love and blackmail are the gist of it. Ceres and Persephone the names. And the best thing about the legend is I can enter it anywhere. And have. As a child in exile in a city of fogs and strange consonants, I read it first and at first I was an exiled child in the crackling dusk of the underworld, the stars blighted.Later I walked out in a summer twilight searching for my daughter at bed-time. When she came runnin...

Fascinating workmanship. Peace Begins With You Our Lady Peace by Mark van Doren How far is it to peace, the piper sighed, The solitary, sweating as he paused. Asphalt the noon; the ravens, terrified, Fled carrion thunder that percussion caused. The envelope of earth was powder loud; The taut wings shivered, driven at the sun. The piper put his pipe away and bowed. Not here, he said. I hunt the love-cool one, The dancer with the clipped hair. Where is she? We shook our heads, parting for him to pass. Our lady was of no such trim degree, And none o...

Passionate Artist Helena Bebirian Displays Symbolic Abstract Painting Of The Three Wise Men

North Andover, MA - December 29th, 2009

This is a very symbolic painting, of The Three Wise Men, and as I have titled it, "Walking Through The Fields of Gold," a song sung by Sting. You'll remember me when the west wind moves Upon the fields of barley You'll forget the sun in his jealous sky As we walk through fields of gold So she took her love For to gaze awhile Upon the fields of barley In his arms she fell as her hair came down Among the fields of gold Will you stay with me, will you be my love Among the fields of barley You forget the sun in his jealous sky As we lie in fields of gold See the west wind move like a lover so Upon the fields of barley Feel her body rise when you kiss her mouth Among the fields of gold I never made promises lightly And there have been some that I've broken But I swear in the days still left We'll walk in fields of gold We'll walk in fields of gold Many year...
