I have always enjoyed the Beauty of Art, Both my Mother and Father were talented Artist. Dad played music Professionally as a Drummer in Las Angeles California. Mom sang professionally and was a Artistic and Ballet Dancer, they met at a gig and the rest is history. As a youngster I took piano lessons and Drum lessons from my Dad but I wasnt that into it because everyday was a lesson... for me it was torture! The foolishness of the young mind! BUT....I discovered something about myself that I found amazing, I loved to draw and paint and in the summers when I was out of school our family would go to museums around the City my favorite being the Museum of Natural History. So I started drawing in Pencil, and it was something I had control over. Throughout the years I have created and destroyed hundreds of image because I was never satisfied with the results, I've taken years Art lessons in Oils, Acrylics, Photography and my favorite portable medium Oil Pastels. I started doing Digital Art about 3 years ago, Had no Idea what it was before then....but I knew a little something about Art (in my own mind of course) I love the portability and on average I have worked 10 hours a day for the past 2 years creating thousands of Images in various stages of production. And now I am ready to share a few of them with you. In the past I have called myself ' The Ugly Betty of the Art world' my work Is raw and primitive at best, but It gives me the satisfaction and happiness that I have always yearned for. Will you like it and buy? That would be nice! But nothing can change the Happiness I feel by being here. Thanks so much for being a part of my Colorvisions.
