I found my passion for the Arts as a young boy. My father often brought notepads from work so that I could doodle. I soon found that I had a knack for it and it turned into a passion. During my high-school days, I attended graphic art classes after school and Upon graduating from high school, I received a graphic arts scholarship from the Los Angeles Times News paper. Thereafter, I attended California State University where I applied myself in the arts department completing several classes; life drawing , advertising and Design. My life of art took a backseat when I joined the US army and Upon returning i pursued a career in the medical field but vowed to return to my Arts. Throughout the years of my career, i completed several paintings and drawings in different mediums as pastels ,charcoals and my recent passion for acrylics. My paintings have gotten larger and larger as I love to challenge myself with depth of scale.
I have recently begun to explore hyperrealism paintings. It gives emphasis on detail and clarity which I find gives me a challenge and therefore I take considerable amount of time with one area during painting. I hope you enjoyed viewing my paintings and drawings as I have always loved and will continue to love this passion.
