HERMANN LEDERLE EXHIBITION MARCH 30, 2017 APPARENT OPPOSITES Silverman Productions, in partnership with Kimball Entertainment, is presenting an intimate art exhibition showcasing the creative works of three uniquely distinguished LA artists Hermann Lederle, Jay Silverman and Cora Silverman. We are delighted to welcome you as private guest to a unique art installation - you can expect a provocative selection of contemporary art, including mixed media, photography, astute illustrative sketches and live music by composer Dave Holden. The artists share a common passion for the Lipstick Angels Charity and will be donating 50% of the proceeds to the charity. Lipstick Angels’ mission is to provide nurturing beauty support services to restore and strengthen the dignity, hope and self-esteem of cancer patients. Lederle to show with Arthea Gallery at ART KARLSRUHE 2013 Hermann Lederle PAINTING The German painter, who now resides in Los Angeles, gives impressionism a contemporary inflection. Where before wispy brushstrokes and springtime hues ruled, Lederle works in the colors and shapes of our time. His paintings have an edge to them and an electric energy pulsing throughout. Lederle’s paintings capture how it feels to see in the modern world. Waterlilies are replaced with welcome screens and rolling sunsets with flashing advertisements. The latest series entails a two-stage process, where at first a graduated color is applied with a traditional brush allowing for the distinct qualities of its stroke to emerge.
