I am an artist residing in beautiful Toledo, Ohio. I love working with colored pencils and pens and recently experimenting with painting. I have a life long addiction to color that is portrayed in my original art. I am 27 years old and the mother to three of the best kids anyone could ask for!
My colored pencil works are abstract and psychedelic. Some are black and white, done with micro pens on bristol board, others are pen and prismacolor pencils. My abstracts are very visually appealing. I just recently placed 6th in a competition held at visualdiner.com by the International Acadamy of Design and Technology. (Go me!)
My paintings are surreal and fantasy aimed. I love to think of new concepts for painting. I always use bright, rich colors in my works though. I have been told my paintings could be described as 'Happy art', which I take as a compliment.
I've always loved art and have used pens as long as I can remember. I incorporated colored pencils about a year ago and started painting in November of 06. Eventually I would like to work with glass and wood sculpting.
