Born on Nov. 4th 1950, as Steve Kreuscher, as of Friday the 13th of June 2008, my name has now legally been changed to 'In God We Trust'.

I was born and raised in a historical city, which a world famous faith healer founded; ( Dr. John Alexander Dowie ), in 1900, Zion Illinois USA. This accounts for me growing up as a very religious mystic.

First of all and above all, my artworks are an artistic autobiography of my life, my character and my strong beliefs and opinions. I am a firm believer that if you don't take a stand for something, then you will fall for anything.

Ironically, I started to paint and draw, through a devastating tragedy; of my best friend getting killed in a car accident, when I was 17 years old.

Within a few years, I had my first one man art show, in 1969.

Then in 1971, I took 3rd place for surrealistic sculptures in an art show at Buckingham Fountain, Chicago, Illinios.

Then a year later, in 1972, I took 2nd place for my surrealistic paintings, in an art show again at Buckingham Fountain, Chicago, Illinois.

Schooling; Semi-taught by, who I consider the holy trinity of the modern art world; Dali, Magritte and M. C. Escher. I have studied their works for 37 years now, as sincere and as faithfully, as someone studying for their doctor's degree in something. This qualifies me as what I call a semi-self-taught artist, and accounts for my surrealistic style. Since, I am a mystic and a surrealist, I call my personal style Mystical Surrealism.

Many people say that surrealism died in 1940. On the contrary, I declare that surrealism is alive more, than ever before, and that it will never die as long as our imaginations and our dreams continue. Surrealism is much more, than just a passing popular art trend. It rises up alive and fresh to every new generation. The tremendously, powerful freedom of surrealism reaches out, grabs and takes ahold of people, from every nationality and every generation since it began. Surrealism frees us to be ourselves and to think for ourselves. Therefore, surrealism is not dead, it has just branched out everywhere and into every artistic media you can think of, giving birth to so many grandchildren movements and styles everywhere.

My life has been full of severe tribulations and almost identical to Van Gogh's life, but 100 years later. The one main difference, between my life and Van Goh's life, is that I survived, but only because of my four gaudian angels; ( my four children ).

I have learnt many very important truths through my tribulations. People know me for saying those truths, which I have learnt and written:

'Relationships are most important, everything else will vanish with the wind'

'Reguardless of your circumstances, happiness is a choice, for better, or for worse, in prospairity, or in poverty'

'Thank God it's Monday !'

One last statement;

People tend to think that 'FREEDOM' is perfect, it's infalable, it's totally pure and golden and can never be defiled or corruped in any way and form. Not so ! Freedom is just a tool, a means for a good person to do good, or for an evil person to do evil. The greatest Christian Saints, who ever lived, lived under slavory or a tyrant Government oppressing them. God has always used such humble tribulation circumstances to purify and santify His people. Most of Christianity in America today is so shallow and weak in faith and pure hearted goodness, that we have definately fallen fast asleep bathing in all the blessedness of the good life in America, which indeed is becoming the great downfall of Christianity in America, making our circumstances like Bob Dylan said in one of his songs, '...Freedom's just around the corner from you, but with truth so far off, what good would it do ?.... '

' DEMOCRACY IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE, WHOM IT IS BEING GOVERNED BY ';

'Democracy in the hands of good, humble, unhypocratical, law abiding citizens is the best form of government on the face of the earth, but when the majority of a nation becomes evil, corrupt, full of greed, arrogant, selfish, and hypocritical, then their democracy is on the verge of becoming the worst curse on the face of the earth, to themselves and to the rest of the world and that nation has become all blindly ready and deceptively prepared to accept, follow and usher in, both the spirit of the anti-christ and the anti-christ himself, who is coming with all deception to decieve even the elect if possible' .
