The Keokuk Art Center, located in Keokuk, Iowa will be hosting an exhibition of former resident and Muscatine, Iowa based artist Jame C. Hayes. The show entitled THEMES will showcase several recent themes that Jame is working through in his own way. James' work is a unique blend of expressionistic works with bold colors and tend to tell stories based on the people, places and things that influence his life. The show will be available for viewing during the month of July at the Keokuk Public Libraries Round Room , 210 North 5th Street Keokuk, IA. There will be an opening reception with the artist on Friday, July 13 2012 from 5:00 p.m. untill 7:00p.m. Original works will be available for sale and prints are available through the artists website:
