Jim became interested in photography as a teenager in New England. He was soon developing black & white sheet film used in antique bellows cameras until he graduated to 35mm SLRs. He retained his interest in the art during his years in the US Coast Guard, college, graduate school, and his working years. After having retired from a career that saw him living and traveling around the US and abroad, Jim, who has settled in western Pennsylvania, is now able to focus on capturing images of the beauty that surrounds us all.
