I am a Washington State native. Growing up in the Evergreen State has given me, I believe, a unique perspective on natures beauty and diversity. In my home town you can literally go from snow skiing to Ocean Kayaking in about an hour and a half. Since it does rain here A LOT, I grew up with plenty of 'Indoor time', sketching, drawing, and of course playing. It also helps and intimidates me that my Dad is also an artist, B.L. Banks, and my grandfather was a Photographer, Clyde Banks.
I will usually have a painting or two listed on my ebay page (my Website in the upper right corner). This is a good way to purchase if you are looking for a great deal. However it does not offer any of the options to be found here.
I try to paint either what I can see or imagine with the filter of how I think it should feel.
