Artist Biography
Born in New York City while Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers were dancing on Broadway. The same year Josef Stalin died in Moscow, Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell appeared in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Marilyn also appeared on the cover of Play Boy magazine, Princess Elizabeth II was crowned Queen of England and John F. Kennedy married Jacqueline Bouvier.
While still in High School (1971) after winning a statewide poster contest I had my first gallery showing in New York City for photography and embroidery. After graduating From Franklin K. Lane Senior High School in NYC I studied Media Arts and painting at New Yorks School of Visual Arts in Manhattan SVA. I continued my Theater studies at VCU Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia. I have since painted my way through foreign lands in theater and feature film productions from Disneys touchstone to Paramount Pictures as well as private commissions and commercial public ventures.
If you find yourself in Key West Florida someday you can still see some of my work standing against the Gulf of Mexico on Stock Island a public mural for the City Of Key West depicting a scene from Gulivers Travels

If you are ever in Magic Haiti, the French West Indies you may catch a glimpse of the gestural figure painting I was asked to donate to the Fine Art Museum of Port-Au-Prince in 1982.
My Retro Bathers series premiered in the Kent Gallery of Key West Florida by invitation only at their first International Human Form show 2004.
My work was chosen for The Boca Museum all Florida exhibition summer 2007
