Colorado fine artist Jennifer Morrison Godshalk is an imaginative, diversified artist. She paints contemporary paintings having mastered a variety of genres. Jennifer is a self taught artist and has taken her own leading path to develop her unique, contemporary style. Her works are often noted for their vibrant, layered colors. She is driven by an incredible passion for self-expression through her love of contemporary, colorful paintings.
Having been a horse owner and her daughters winning grand champion at local horse shows, Jennifer has a deep love for horses and specializes in equine paintings. Utilizing color and texture, her work captures their graceful, powerful movements and expressions.
Jennifer's work has premiered in prestigious exhibitions including The Pro Rodeo Hall Of Fame in Colorado Springs, Colorado which featured her work in a solo exhibition in their museum in April 2011. Jennifer exhibited at the Beaver Creek Art Festival in Vail, Colorado in 2010. Jennifer also participated in an exhibition in 2010 at the Madden Museum Of Art in the Denver Technological Center. Jennifer's work continues to gain attention internationally as she was invited and participates in exhibiting her work virtually at the Moya Museum in Vienna, Austria.
Tragedy struck Jennifer and her children in 2011 when her husband of 20 years who suffered from severe depression ended his life. Because of financial strain, they were forced to sell their horses.
By the grace of God, Jennifer has found new love in her life and remarried in 2012. With strong emotional support and encouragement of her new husband, Jennifer's artwork has enhanced in detail and beauty and within the last year, her art career has skyrocketed!
Jennifer Morrison Godshalk's work is now premiered in upscale restaurants in Colorado including LODO downtown Denver and in newly constructed Longhorn Steakhouse restaurants nationwide. Her gallery work is represented by A+Y Design Gallery in Montrose, Colorado. Jennifer also has work in The White Dog Gallery in Carbondale, Colorado.
