Jerry Frishman has over 30 years of photography experience. He started out doing pictures for his High School yearbook and has never stopped taking pictures. His influences starting his career were Monte Zucker, a world famous wedding photographer, who he took photography classes from and Jerry also studied photography at Montgomery College in Rockville MD. He also assisted a well known photographer in the DC area, Ronald Schaffer, where he was taught a lot of techniques that he uses today, photographing Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. Another mentor that guided him in business and photography career was Steve Blanton.
His professional career started in the late 1970ís as a Portrait Photographer at Woodward and Lothrop Department Store. In the early 1980ís he was a photojournalist with the Gazette News Papers.
His creative and unique photography is known threw out the Washington DC Metro area. Jerry is a premier event photographer and is a member of Professional Photographers of America as well as Professional Photographers Society of Greater Washington.
