Jessica Miller began taking pictures at a young age, and has always been fascinated with narrative images. She is currently attending The School of Visual Arts for an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media and holds a BFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute, as well as a BA in Psychology from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College. Psychology and her fascination with portraiture provide a compelling combination, and urge her viewer to confront ideas about representation and the emotional undercurrent of all her sitters. She works incessantly on projects of her own creation, shooting everywhere from India to Berlin to the backwoods of the American South. View her work at www.jessica-miller.com.
