Art has been my passion for most of my life. After my studies at the Art Students League in New York City, I spent many years as a graphic artist and illustrator. Over thirty year ago I became a full time fine artist
Painting in watercolor and acrylic inspires me. I want to capture the shapes and colors of nature -- the light on the land, the movement of water and the clouds in the sky.
Over the years my painting style has changed from realistic to abstract impressions. I have been working on Yupo and oriental papers using watercolor and acrylic paints and inks. I like to experiment and allow the medium and paper to lead me on to new paths of discovery. Each new path has its own learning curve and that is exciting!
I still love to paint traditional transparent watercolors. I will be putting them on my Artists Page and Website, as well as my photographs. I have just become an associate member of the American Watercolor Society and hope to have one of my paintings considered for an annual show.
Thank you for stopping by to look at my work~~
