Hi ! my name is Joane.
I originally came from La Garenne-Colombes, near Paris, France.
I'm a self-taught artist as I have never had any Art lessons. I've made my first pencils portrait for fun when I was 17 but I've never made any other drawing or painting for more than 20 years. I really started drawing in 2011 inspired by a fantastic British actor Richard Armitage. I know it sounds crazy but it is true, and I've never stopped drawing since that date, inspired by many other artists.
I like drawing portraits, mainly in pencils and watercolours, even if I use also pastels or sanguine pencils. My pleasure is to draw the eyes 'mirrors of the soul' and I hope that you will enjoy them too ; )
