More then 6 years professional experience teaching art at a community college. .
I believe it was my early years spent in nature that inspired me into painting wildlife. Watercolor has become my choice of medium for the past 11 years, there is softness with watercolor that I enjoy.
I tend to paint in layers & uses very fine brushes for feathers & fur. I take my time on each painting to bring through each individual personality and expressions, which usually starts in the eyes.
I also have a passion for photography which started about 8 years ago when I decided to buy a digital camera to capture images of wildlife, which I use for my watercolor paintings. I lived in Southern CA.for 30 yrs and belonged to the Pomona art association. My paintings were displayed in the Soho gallery for almost a decade. I have been in several eclectic art shows. I now live Sisters,Oregon, where photo opportunities are endless.
'The divine energy of nature surrounds us...see it, feel it, photograph it'
