I have been creating Pen & Ink Historical Renderings since 1964. The former Canadian Prime Minister Hon. John Diefenbaker collected my work while in office in the 1970's. Many of the Pen & Inks were created from Canadian Public Archive photos.
I was born in 1936, at Ottawa, Ontario, and specialized in Commercial Art at the Ottawa Technical School. While studying under the Fairbairn Art Studio for my Commercial Art apprenticeship where I designed the first Carton of milk for Sealtest Dairies. Many Canadian firms enjoy my LOGO designs..
My first Pen & Ink was from an engraving of The Citadel in Belgium dated 1422ad. Later working from photos, I produced an Ottawa Series that continued from 1969 into 1986. Former Prime Minister Hon. John Deifenbaker collected my Inks from 1971 until his death.
The many Chateaus from France were created from heritage engravings and offered in Limited Edition Prints in the late 1980's.

I have retired in Fort Coulonge Quebec,, where I continue to produce works in Pen & Ink, Oils,Acrylic, Watercolours and Mixed Media Painting, Primarily Portraiture and Historical or Heritage compositions created from museum photos.
Presently designing and painting a large Algonquin Tipi for the Off-Reserve Algonquins of my Pontiac region.
I am a card-carrying Algonquin of 77 years.
I now offer 'Live' appearances as a Caricaturist at regional Public Events.
