John Haldane is a published professional nature and landscape photographer and artist from Asheville, North Carolina. His work has been featured in fine art galleries, calendars, books, magazines including The Scenic, Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, and many more places and venues. Much of John's landscape and nature photography is from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
John's work is not limited to his beautiful North Carolina surroundings, however, as he travels around the United States and has acclaimed images from Washington State to Maine, Florida to California, and in between.
John is a member of the Carolina Nature Photographers Association (CNPA) and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). He is also a member of the Friends of the WNC Nature Center, the North Carolina Arboretum, The Great Smoky Mountains Association, the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, the Swannanoa Valley Museum, and the Biltmore.

Western North Carolina is full of talented people, from sculptors and painters to pianists and folk musicians. At Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), we like to show off some of that creativity by displaying artwork in our own mini-gallery and throughout the terminal, and by featuring musical performances on a weekly basis.
Art in the Airport showcases the work of local artists on a rotating basis. Since the gallery opened in June, 2007, we've displayed the artwork of more than 120 artists. We invite you to visit the airport and enjoy the exhibit!
If you find something for sale in the gallery you just can’t live without, it’s easy to make a purchase, and you can pick up your treasure or have it shipped to you as soon as the exhibit ends. Contact email@example.com for more information.
