John graduated from Brown University where he studied a Studio Arts and Urban Planning curriculum in preparation for pursuing an advanced Architecture degree. He availed himself of courses at adjacent RISD. His greatest influence was Hugh Townley, a Brown Art professor and renowned sculpture known for his wood reliefs in exotic hardwoods. In a turn of events, instead of studying Architecture, John pursued an interest in International Business and graduated from Thunderbird School of Global Management. He maintained a creative interest in Photography as he pursued a career in trading and in investment management. He was always interested in color and he was very pleased and inspired by the recent success of color photography and exotic landscapes. John has an unusual eye for composition and opportunistic photography as life presents fleeting moments of visual perfection to be captured by the fortunate Photographer.
