Johnathan Harris was born in Arkansas, in 1975 and has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Fayetteville, Arkansas (2000), Santa Fe, New Mexico (2003-2010); Sedona, Arizona (2008-2011); Little Rock, Arkansas (2010) and Memphis, Tennessee (2007-2011).
He is an increasingly acclaimed contemporary artist producing landscape, abstract and wildlife paintings and working in USA. He is widely known for his highly individual acrylics inspired primarily by the landscapes around the states of New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming and Montana. In recent years, Johnathan Harris released a new body of work focusing on European landscapes, such as the English countryside, Tuscany and the south of France. While most of his landscapes emphasize the natural vibrancy and rich colors of the area, some are infused with a tranquil and mysterious beauty.
Most of Harris' paintings express emotions using intense and complex color combinations and are inspired by the natural world using a softer, more serene palette.
