About Jon E.Haber:
Began at an early age of 6 Illustrating in watercolors and other media's..At age 12 was in his first competition show up against 40 others..Recieved,1st place and tops in show..Having a heavy Graphic,background with his parents with McCalls Corp. Dayton,Ohio. Jon was able to blossom his talent into the Fine Arts and at the age of 18 traveled all over U.S.A. Joined the Navy during the Veitnum War. Was stationed in the 6 fleet and on a Carrier.Printing all the operations of night flights, In the Print Shop.1966 Jon was given an Award of Recognition by Sec.of Defense McNamara, for his creation of a new emblem for the ship.First time ever changed in war time..He received a superior vote of excellence in Graphic Arts and Design. Jon studed in Museum Fine Art School S.E.University Boston,Mass.1967 continued to Dayton Art Institute, where he majored in both Fine Art and Advertising/Marketing.
1970 ventured to Florida, where he was hired as Art Director, for a International Bill Board Firm. Was approached by head of NFL.for a new football team. Wanted a logo and design..Happened to be the 'DOLPHINS'. The football team was designed and mascott is there today.
1971 Jon came to Atlanta,Ga.Started HABER'S ART GALLERY. one of the South's most prestigious art galleries.
His talent in watercolor,acrylics,restoration on named antique paintings ,commissioned works and skilles in publishing and graphics.Started his Limited Editions and Publishing.Which stimulated mass sales in a top U.S.Furniture Line.giving him 700 stores across America to supply.
Art Shows and Private Showings all over the U.S.A. and Corporation Investment Collectors started his sales to increase.
In 1976 married a Bermudan British Artist.Jackie Jones Holmes, Known in the islands and Europe for her reallistic paintings. Where by in 1977 Bermuda, purchased over 100 original paintings.
Then in 1977 was approached by Pres.Jimmy and Roseland Carter, with 4 endorsements on a Commemorative Portfolio of 3 lithographs that were placed in the Private Collection of President Carter and Library in Atlanta,Ga.
In 1982; both Jon and his wife were both elected into the FINE ART TRADE GUILD, as Publishers,Fine Artists and World Wide Painters.London,England. With showing in Harriods,Royal Academy for the Arts etc.
As today have been totally into the paintings through out there lives and had never worked another job but..42 yrs.with showing and art sales so numerous that can't mention all them..
Today; with 3 studios U.S.A.,Bermuda and London,UK. Plus
