I have worked with various mediums for many years but I always come back to pencil drawings as my first love. At the insistence of a good friend, and fellow artist, Carol Mathis, I did the first reproductions of one of my drawings in 1984. Through the years I have added substantially to my collection and now have more than 120 different images available for purchase. My subjects range from historical places to western subjects which allows me the challenge of doing my favorite animal, the horse. I also have a collection of Train drawings and wildlife. Not only do I have my prints for sale but I also am available for commissioned work and commercial illustration. I have illustrated for several magazines including California Journal, California Horse Review, Nevada Magazine, Sierra Heritage and many others. In 2001 I had one of my drawings accepted by Wisconsin Ducks Unlimited. I love drawing portraits and have done many through the years, people or family pets...you provide the picture(s) or when possible, I will take the pictures for the drawings. My prints are available in both black and white and also a hand water colored wash for those that want the image in color. By water coloring the print it makes each one an original of sorts because no two turn out the same. Any of the black and white prints can be ordered in water color.
