am Joseph Muchina born in Nairobi Kenya .I am a full time artist.I developed a love for art at an early age while attending primary school.The late Mage indulged my creativity and gave me the basics of art in 1998.Later i read books on Monet,Van Gogh,Mattisse and Dali all of whom have been a great inspiration.
I started painting seriously in the year 2000 using both oil and acrylic.Other than brushes, i use the pallet knife for rough texture finishing.
Since then,i have grown to become an international artist.My art has been sold in Africa,Europe,England,United States and Canada.In Kenya,my work is exhibited at Nairobi National Museum,Ramoma Art Gallery,Village Market,Museum of Kenya Art Gallery and American Embassy in Kenya.In 2005,I was exhibited in Perth Gallery in Scotland.Most recently,I exhibited at the AGOA forum in Nairobi presided over by Mrs.Hilary Clinton,United States Secretary of State.I Have exhibited my work in Oslo spektrum,Lillestrom,Jessheim and Lillestrom in Norway in year 2010
Further, i have been featured as a prominent Kenyan artist on Citizen TV,KTN TV,and KBC NATIONAL TV in Kenya.In Scotland,I was featured in the 3 leading newspapers;The Courier,The Evening Telegraph Dudee in 20/7/2005.
My work is highly popular with art lovers,tourists and visitors in Kenya.I work with standard sizes but invite you to request any size to suit your needs.
